But we, as scientists, cannot be certain that Air Supply would have existed without Russell.
Certainly Graham would have still formed a band to play his songs but who knows to what extent the addition of Russell into his life altered the course of Graham's existance...right down to the dream he had with the billboard and AIR SUPPLY in flashing lights? Perhaps, for all we can suppose, Graham and Russell had been out for a late night pizza and it was that very pizza that caused Graham to sleep fitfully and dream that dream. Or maybe the sound would have been so different without Russell that the name Air Supply wouldn't have even occured to Graham, whether awake or asleep. Or maybe he would have become a solo artist and just been called Graham Russell. Or gone back to England for good and written musical theatre.
